The "Grand Hotel" was opened in 1880. This pre-Revolutionary hotel was converted into apartment house at 29 G. Atoneli street. Alexander Nevsky Church stoat in the lower part of Alexander Garden. Its foundation was laid on September 11, 1889. Consecrated on May 25, 1890. Architect Boulefrois. Demolishes after the establishment of Soviet power in Georgia.
